Friedrichshafen: Zeppelins and Lake Views

I’ve found myself daydreaming and going through photographs from our late summer trip a few times recently. We made a special trip out of Bayern to Friedrichshafen, a city located on the Bodensee (Lake Constance), which is a meeting point between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We went on a beautiful, beautiful September day only to get on the wrong train and take a slight “detour” through the quiet and quaint Mindelheim. My husband wanted to visit Friedrichshafen’s Zeppelin Museum, which was very nice. The town is the City of Zeppelins. Definitely a wonderful little town that might not be an obvious spot to most English-speaking tourists.
